Smorgasburg turns 10 at ROW DTLA this Sunday and the celebration calls for an all-star alumni reunion. Early favorites including Holy Basil, Shrimp Daddy, Bub & Grandma’s, Carnitas El Momo, Cheezus, and Evil Cooks return alongside the current lineup of future LA food all-stars. The collaborations are the highlight: Bridgetown Roti and Tacos 1986 team up on a goat taco, Bub and Grandma’s and RC Provisions pay homage to Ugly Drum with a pastrami sandwich and reuben, and legendary ramen chef Keizo Shimamoto himself returns to make the original Ramen Burger, one of the few concepts to make the trip west from New York when Smorgasburg first expanded to LA. Ten years in, the market is still introducing the city to its next favorite thing. Cheers to that!
